Early Life and Family Background

Ukeme Johnny, popularly known as Johnnywriter, was born on June 15, 1996, in Etinan Local Government Area, located in Akwa Ibom State, in the southern region of Nigeria. He is the first child and only son in a family of four children, raised by his resilient mother alongside three sisters.

Growing up in a home without the presence of a loving marital relationship deeply shaped his emotional intelligence, empathy, and passion for helping others. His difficult childhood experience—marked by personal struggles, emotional voids, and an early awareness of human pain—became the soil in which his purpose was planted.

Education and Academic Background

Johnnywriter began his formal education in Etinan, where he attended primary and secondary school. He later proceeded to Madonna University, Okija, where he studied Banking and Finance, graduating in the 2016/2017 academic session.

In 2018, he completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program at the Agricultural Development Programme (ADP) in Ibusa, Delta State. His academic training, though rooted in finance, became the foundation for his entrepreneurial ventures and organizational leadership skills.

Founding of Hisparadise Therapy

Despite graduating with a degree in finance, Johnnywriter's personal mission was always centered around emotional healing, mental health, and relationship transformation. This passion led to his certification and professional journey as a relationship therapist. His own life struggles with depression, suicidal thoughts, and emotional trauma inspired him to build platforms that could bring hope and healing to others.

In 2017, he founded Hisparadise Therapy (hisparadisetherapy.com), a therapy center dedicated to supporting individuals and couples in overcoming mental, emotional, and relational challenges. Initially a small private practice in Asaba, Hisparadise Therapy has grown into a trusted institution, known for offering compassionate care, evidence-based approaches, and accessible mental health services.

Under his leadership as Lead Therapist, Hisparadise Therapy has helped hundreds of clients heal from emotional wounds, navigate relationship complexities, and rediscover their self-worth.

Expansion into Technology and Real Estate

Building on his success in therapy, Johnnywriter expanded into technology with the establishment of Hisparadise Tech in 2020. This tech agency provides web development, digital marketing, enterprise hosting, and business automation services to clients across Nigeria.

His entrepreneurial vision led to the creation of Hisparadise Multilink Resources Limited, a conglomerate spanning multiple industries including therapy, technology, real estate, fashion, food, and education. The group's real estate arm, Hisparadise Estates, focuses on providing affordable housing solutions and property investment opportunities.

Writing and Media Presence

As a writer and editor, Johnnywriter has contributed to over 100 online publications, authoring articles and resources on depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, trauma, family dysfunctions, and personal development. He strongly believes in the power of open conversation and creative storytelling to reduce stigma and normalize therapy.

His upcoming media projects include the Hisparadise Chronicles Podcast and a YouTube channel focused on relationship tips, therapy talks, and personal development content.

Personal Philosophy and Mission

Johnnywriter lives by the belief that "everyone is born with a purpose, but pain often reveals it." His mission is to help others find clarity, healing, and direction—especially those who are silently struggling. He is guided by his Christian faith, humility, and a desire to be a bridge between pain and purpose.

Though he has experienced personal struggles—including past battles with addiction, self-doubt, and periods of feeling off-track—he is open about his healing journey and uses it as a platform to relate to others authentically. He believes vulnerability is a strength and healing is a process.
